DESCRIPTION:This 8-hour course is designed for the armed citizen who wants to carry with confidence\, and perform under pressure. Whether you’re new to everyday carry or refining your foundation\, this class focuses on executing critical defensive skills from concealment\, in motion\, and under real-world conditions. You’ll build efficiency drawing from concealment\, managing malfunctions and reloads with on-body gear\, and working through layered clothing to simulate four-season carry. From summer T-shirts to winter jackets\, you’ll learn to fight through the friction of real life. \nNote: This is not a beginner class. Participants must arrive ready to safely handle\, draw\, and run their firearm from a holster. \nYou’ll Learn How To: \n\n\nDraw safely and consistently from concealment \n\n\nClear malfunctions and perform reloads with body-worn gear \n\n\nManage multiple cover garments and layers \n\n\nMove with purpose while drawing and shooting \n\n\nMake fast\, informed decisions under stress \n\n\nAdditional Focus Areas: \n\n\nOn-body holster and mag placement \n\n\nClose-quarters shooting and one-handed manipulation \n\n\nVerbal commands\, situational awareness\, and post-engagement actions \n\n\nGear Requirements: \n\n\nDefensive handgun (good working condition) \n\n\n200 -250 rounds of ammo \n\n\nConcealment holster (AIWB or strong-side only) No Serpa-style push-button\, leather or soft sided or collapsable holsters allowed. \n\n\nAt least 2 spare magazines and on-body mag pouches \n\n\nThree cover garments: lightweight\, mid-weight\, and heavy/jacket \n\n\nEye/ear protection \n\n\nSturdy belt \n\n\nAppropriate range attire \n\n\nNotepad and pen for notes and gear feedback \n\n\n  \nEVENT REGISTRATION TERMS & CONDITIONS\nCourse Transfer: With 72-hour advance notice of the event date we will issue a unique re-registration code for course transfers.\nCancellation Refund: Refunds for 50% balance of event fee\, if no transfer is possible\, are issued in the form of store gift cards only but ONLY if we are notified of the cancelation up to 72 hours in advance of the event date.\nNo-Call/No-Show: Participants who do not show to the event without prior 72-hour notice forfeit their total registration fees.\nSame Day Cancelations: Same day cancelations are non-refundable as spots in classes are quick to fill and we will be unable to resell that spot in the event or give an individual on a waitlist adequate time to purchase that spot.
