Students should know and be able to perform all aspects of safe firearm handing\, loading\, and unloading\, malfunction clearing. You should have a clear understanding of how and why your gun works as it does. \n  \nTHIS IS NOT A BEGINNER CLASS! \nTHIS IS NOT A “FIRST TIME SHOOTING” OR FIRST TIME WORKING FROM A HOLSTER CLASS! \n  \nAll students must have ample experience working in and out of a holster from concealment. All students must know how to properly load/unload your pistol and clear all malfunctions. \nIf you are not sure of your skill level\, please contact us directly for an assessment. \nThis is a multifaceted class designed to introduce the intermediate or advanced shooter to the various aspects of efficient\, effective and accurate pistol shooting fundamentals and foundational skills. \nIntermediate and advanced shooters will benefit as we will help diagnose and correct any shooting errors or problem areas to help improve your shooting abilities. \nThis is also an opportunity to work on any areas that the shooter themselves would like to request. \n  \nCOURSE BREAKDOWN: \n– Range orientation \n– Firearms safety \n– Shooting principals (holding\, aiming\, firing\, timing) and how and why they apply to shooting. \n– Warm-up drills \n– Ready positions \n– Reloading techniques and malfunction clearance drills \n– Dry fire / live fire drills. \n– Strong hand and weak hand shooting. \n– Accuracy and speed development drills. \n– Engaging multiple targets. \n– Gear discussion/selection. \n– Alternate shooting positions \n– Q & A \n  \nEQUIPMENT LIST: \n-Quality functional semi-automatic pistol (a secondary pistol is recommended) \n-4 magazines minimum \n-Minimum of 300 rounds of target ammunition. \n-QUALITY kydex holster (IWB\, OWB\, AIWB or Duty Rig for LE —PLEASE NO flimsy nylon or cloth holsters.
