Whether you’re looking to test your marksmanship\, improve your speed\, or just soak up the friendly\, competitive vibe\, this is the event you don’t want to miss. \n\nWhat to Expect\nThe Gunslinger State Championship isn’t your typical static target shoot — it’s an action-packed\, dynamic pistol match with stages that keep you thinking and moving. Our match designers love to keep things fresh and challenging\, and stages may include: \n\n\nSafe movement with barricades \n\n\nStrong- and support-hand shooting \n\n\nSteel plate challenges \n\n\nMoving targets & low-light scenarios \n\n\nBowling pin shoots \n\n\nAccuracy & speed drills \n\n\nEach shooter will run the match twice in a row\, with their best score entered into the competition pool. At the end of the day\, we’ll award Class Trophies and crown the High Overall (HOA) Champion! \n\n🎥 Curious what it’s like?Watch highlights from a past Gunslinger Match: Watch Here \n\n\nWho Can Compete\nThis event is perfect for the not-so-beginner shooter — someone who can safely handle\, draw\, and shoot their handgun.If you’re confident in your firearm safety skills and want to step into competition\, this is your chance to join an encouraging\, supportive\, and non-intimidating competitive environment. \nIf you’re brand new to shooting\, we recommend taking one of our handgun fundamentals or skill-building classes first\, but if you’re comfortable on the line\, come join the fun! \n\nMatch Details\n\n\nDate: Saturday\, October 18th\, 2025 \n\n\nTime: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM \n\n\nFee: $15 per shooter \n\n\nRegistration: Walk-ins welcome! (First come\, first served.) \n\n\nEach shooter takes 5–10 minutes per run\, and you’ll shoot the course twice — your best score counts. Simple\, fair\, and a blast for everyone. \n\nGear Up & Be Ready\nHere’s what you’ll need to compete: \n\n\nCenterfire pistol & 50 rounds of factory FMJ ball ammo \n\n\nMinimum of 3 magazines (preloaded with 8 rounds each saves time) \n\n\nStrong side OWB holster (no bra\, ankle\, cross-draw\, Serpa\, soft side\, or off-body holsters) \n\n\nGun belt & mag pouches \n\n\nEye & ear protection \n\n\nRange-appropriate attire \n\n\nA great attitude & readiness to reset/tape targets between shooters! \n\n\n\n🛑 Safety First — Always\nSafety is our top priority.
