Whether you’re headed toward competition\, structured range training\, or simply expanding your practical handgun skills\, this class gives you a solid\, hands-on foundation. \nYou’ll learn essential firearm safety\, range procedures\, how to choose an appropriate holster\, and the fundamental motor skills for safe draws. Expect thoughtful\, hands-on coaching\, simple step-by-step progressions\, and a supportive group of fellow learners. \nWhat you’ll take away \n\nConfident\, safe draw mechanics from an OWB holster\nPractical holster selection and retention considerations\nRange procedures and safety best-practices specific to holstered work\nA clear practice plan for continuing skills development at home\n\nRequired Equipment \n\nEye protection & hearing protection\nFunctional semi-automatic handgun in .22 LR\, .380\, or 9mm\nHard-sided\, outside-the-waistband (OWB) holster (no bra holsters\, purse carry\, inside-the-waistband (IWB)\, push-button retention\, or soft/fabric holsters)\nTwo magazines\nTwo magazine pouches\nSturdy gun belt (with belt loops on your pants)\n100 rounds of factory ammunition\nNotepad and pen (strongly recommended)\n\nRecommended Attire \n\nClimate-appropriate short- or long-sleeve shirt with a high neckline (no low-cut/V-neck tops)\nPants with belt loops (required for holstered draws)\nBall cap recommended\nClosed-toe shoes\n\nEVENT REGISTRATION TERMS & CONDITIONS\nCourse Transfer: With 72-hour advance notice of the event date we will issue a unique re-registration code for course transfers.\nCancellation Refund: Refunds for 50% balance of event fee\, if no transfer is possible\, are issued in the form of store gift cards only but ONLY if we are notified of the cancelation up to 72 hours in advance of the event date.\nNo-Call/No-Show: Participants who do not show to the event without prior 72-hour notice forfeit their total registration fees.\nSame Day Cancelations: Same day cancelations are non-refundable as spots in classes are quick to fill and we will be unable to resell that spot in the event or give an individual on a waitlist adequate time to purchase that spot.
