DESCRIPTION:Red Dot Essentials is a dynamic 4-hour course built for shooters ready to build confidence and skill with pistol-mounted optics. Designed for those transitioning from iron sights or looking to overcome common red dot challenges\, this class delivers practical tools and proven techniques that make a difference on the range. \nParticipants explore how red dot optics work\, with focused instruction on fast dot acquisition\, maintaining accuracy through recoil\, and refining visual discipline. Purposeful\, easy-to-follow drills are included to strengthen performance both on the range and during dry fire at home. \nLed by certified A Girl & A Gun instructors in a supportive and welcoming environment\, this course empowers shooters to take control of their red dot journey with clarity and confidence and walk away with a clear plan for continued growth. \nREQUIRED EQUIPMENT: \n\nEye Protection & Hearing Protection\nA functional semi-automatic handgun in .22lr\, .380\, or 9mm\nHandgun MUST have pistol mounted optic pre-installed\nOptic MUST be zeroed for either 10\, 15\, or 25 yards\nOptic user manual and sight adjustment tools\nSpare optic battery\nMinimum of three magazines \n150 – 200 rounds of factory ammunition\nNotepad and pen strongly recommended\n\nRECOMMENDED ATTIRE: \n\nClimate appropriate: High collar shirt. No low-cut/V-neck tops!\nBallcap recommended\nClosed-toe shoes\n\n  \nEVENT REGISTRATION TERMS & CONDITIONS\nCourse Transfer: With 72-hour advance notice of the event date we will issue a unique re-registration code for course transfers.\nCancellation Refund: Refunds for 50% balance of event fee\, if no transfer is possible\, are issued in the form of store gift cards only but ONLY if we are notified of the cancelation up to 72 hours in advance of the event date.\nNo-Call/No-Show: Participants who do not show to the event without prior 72-hour notice forfeit their total registration fees.\nSame Day Cancelations: Same day cancelations are non-refundable as spots in classes are quick to fill and we will be unable to resell that spot in the event or give an individual on a waitlist adequate time to purchase that spot.
