DESCRIPTION:Curious about the AR-15 but not sure where to start? This 4-hour introductory course is designed for new rifle owners and first-time shooters who want clear instruction\, hands-on experience\, and a supportive learning environment.  \nYou’ll learn how the AR-15 functions\, how to safely handle and operate it\, and how to confidently use it on the range. Through guided instruction and live-fire exercises\, you’ll develop the foundational skills needed to safely load\, unload\, shoot\, and maintain your rifle.  \nOur experienced instructors break every skill into simple\, easy-to-follow steps\, giving you plenty of opportunities to ask questions\, practice\, and build confidence at your own pace.  \nBy the end of class\, you’ll understand your rifle\, feel comfortable operating it safely\, and leave with a clear path for continued practice and improvement.  \nNo experience required. Questions encouraged. Confidence starts here.  \nREQUIRED EQUIPMENT:\nAR-15 style rifle chambered in: .223 / 5.56 NATO or .300 AAC Blackout\nRifle must have: Iron sights or optic installed with a confirmed zero prior to class\nMinimum of 3 magazines 120 rounds of factory ammunition\nEye protection\nHearing protection (electronic preferred) \n\n\n\nRECOMMENDED ATTIRE:\nHigh collar/neckline shirt. No low-cut/V-neck tops!\nBallcap recommended.\nClosed-toe shoes.\n\n\n\n  \n\n\n\nPLEASE NOTE:\nRifles must arrive unloaded and cased.\nNo steel-core\, tracer\, or armor-piercing ammunition.\nUnsafe or malfunctioning firearms will not be permitted on the range. \n\n\n\n  \nEVENT REGISTRATION TERMS & CONDITIONS\nCourse Transfer: With 72-hour advance notice of the event date we will issue a unique re-registration code for course transfers.\nCancellation Refund: Refunds for 50% balance of event fee\, if no transfer is possible\, are issued in the form of store gift cards only but ONLY if we are notified of the cancelation up to 72 hours in advance of the event date.\nNo-Call/No-Show: Participants who do not show to the event without prior 72-hour notice forfeit their total registration fees.\nSame Day Cancelations: Same day cancelations are non-refundable as spots in classes are quick to fill and we will be unable to resell that spot in the event or give an individual on a waitlist adequate time to purchase that spot.
