9/5/25 – Concealed Carry Essentials

This 8-hour course is designed for the armed citizen who wants to carry with confidence, and perform under pressure. Whether you’re new to everyday carry or refining your foundation, this class focuses on executing critical defensive skills from concealment, in motion, and under real-world conditions. You’ll build efficiency drawing from concealment, managing malfunctions and reloads with on-body gear, and working through layered clothing to simulate four-season carry. From summer T-shirts to winter jackets, you’ll learn to fight through the friction of real life.

Note: This is not a beginner class. Participants must arrive ready to safely handle, draw, and run their firearm from a holster.

You’ll Learn How To:

• Draw safely and consistently from concealment

• Clear malfunctions and perform reloads with body-worn gear

• Manage multiple cover garments and layers

• Move with purpose while drawing and shooting

• Make fast, informed decisions under stress

Additional Focus Areas:

• On-body holster and mag placement

• Close-quarters shooting and one-handed manipulation

• Verbal commands, situational awareness, and post-engagement actions

Gear Requirements:

• Defensive handgun (good working condition)

• 200 -250 rounds of ammo

• Concealment holster (AIWB or strong-side only) No Serpa-style push-button, leather or soft sided or collapsable holsters allowed.

• At least 2 spare magazines and on-body mag pouches

• Three cover garments: lightweight, mid-weight, and heavy/jacket

• Eye/ear protection

• Sturdy belt

• Appropriate range attire

• Notepad and pen for notes and gear feedback

EVENT REGISTRATION TERMS & CONDITIONS
Course Transfer: With 72-hour advance notice of the event date we will issue a unique re-registration code for course transfers.
Cancellation Refund: Refunds for 50% balance of event fee, if no transfer is possible, are issued in the form of store gift cards only but ONLY if we are notified of the cancelation up to 72 hours in advance of the event date.
No-Call/No-Show: Participants who do not show to the event without prior 72-hour notice forfeit their total registration fees.
Same Day Cancelations: Same day cancelations are non-refundable as spots in classes are quick to fill and we will be unable to resell that spot in the event or give an individual on a waitlist adequate time to purchase that spot.
